2023 Alzheimer’s Awareness Month wrap up

After another successful Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, the Alzheimer’s Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories received a $10,000 cheque of additional funding from New-Horizon Co-op.

Jennifer Simms the Regional Lead of the Alzheimer’s Society says in Alberta there were more than 50,000 people with dementia or other Alzheimer’s in 2021, with the society supporting 10,000 of those families.
