County of Grande Prairie council met this week.
Among the highlights were the approval of the divisional projects list for the next three years. Divisional projects include construction, re-construction, or paving of major roads, as well as surface water management which includes drainage, and other Public Works Divisional infrastructure priorities.
Council also approved the locations for this year’s County open houses. Set to take place in June, this year’s gatherings will take place at the Crosslink County Sportsplex, Hythe and District Memorial Arena, and the Bezanson Community Event Centre.
And council also received an update on the County’s Business Plan, ahead of their review of the 2022-26 Strategic Plan. That review will take place later this month.
