County of Grande Prairie snow removal crews moving into Clairmont and Hythe

County of Grande Prairie snow clearing crews will begin clearing Clairmont from 100 Avenue to 116 Avenue and will also start in Hythe Thursday morning.

Parking restrictions will be in place for 12 hours, starting at 7 a.m. and running till 7 p.m.

Crews will move into other neighborhoods, including, Whispering Ridge, Westlake subdivisions, Wedgewood, Taylor Estates, and Maple Ridge depending on weather conditions and garbage collection days.

The county would like to advise residents as the crew progress, new temporary parking bans will be put in place.

Motorists are reminded to watch for digital “No Parking” signs, and the county will also be emailing updates to their webpage subscribers.

Vehicles left on the street during snow removal may be ticketed or towed, and piling snow onto the roadways during snow removal is illegal and could result in a $100 fine.
