County of Grande Prairie snowplow crews moving to Whispering Ridge, Westlake Village Saturday

UPDATE: The county says plowing will finish in Westlake Village and Whispering Ridge by Sunday morning at the latest. Plowing will start Sunday morning in Wedgewood, with Maple Ridge and Taylor Estates to follow.

The County of Grande Prairie says snowplowing will start in Westlake Village and Whispering Ridge Saturday morning.

The county says in a release Wedgewood, Taylor Estates, and Maple Ridge will follow, but the order in which they will be done has not yet been decided.

Plowing has been completed in Hythe and in Clairmont between 100 and 116 Avenues.

The county reminds people that parking restrictions are in place when plowing is being done and vehicles parked where they are not supposed to be could be ticketed or towed.

People are also being asked to watch for the digital “No Parking” signs when plowing operations are underway.
