Firefighters Charitable Foundation makes sizable donation to PWPSD

Lunch programs at schools within the Peace Wapiti Public School Division will be getting a boost thanks to a generous donation from the Grande Prairie Firefighters Charitable Foundation.

The organization recently presented the school district with a cheque worth five thousand dollars.

In a release, Assistant Superintendent Shawn O’Shea says they are very grateful for the support, adding the donation will be a great help to their students.

The Grande Prairie Firefighters Charitable Foundation has been around since 2007.
