New weekend and day passes for city transit

The City of Grande Prairie is offering new pass options for transit riders.

Day and weekend passes are now available for unlimited travel, wherever transit routes go for the duration of the pass.

The day passes are as follows:

$7.00 for adults
$6.00 for seniors and youth

Day passes are reloadable on SUPERPASS online.

Weekend passes are as follows:

$10.00 for adults
$8.00 for seniors and youth

Weekend passes are only available at SUPERPASS sales locations and are disposable.

Mayor Jackie Clayton said in a news release, “Introducing these new fare options supports Council’s Strategic Priority of being an Inclusive, Caring Community by making transit more accessible for more people.”

She added, “We look forward to seeing the day and weekend passes encourage more people to explore and enjoy our great city.”
