Extreme cold warnings in place across the Peace

An extreme cold warning is now in place for the Grande Prairie-Beaverlodge-Valleyview forecast area.

The weather office says wind chills near -40 are expected Tuesday night.

The wind chill may moderate during the day but there could be extreme wind chills through Thursday.

The forecast says it is supposed to warm up by Friday.

The extreme cold warnings continue for the Peace River-Fairview-High Prairie-Manning and BC Peace forecast areas.
