Whitecourt RCMP seek suspect in armed robbery

RCMP in Whitecourt are investigating a report of an armed robbery at the Fas Gas on Kepler Street in that community.
Police say that at around 8:30 Tuesday morning, an unknown suspect walked into the store and pointed a firearm at the cashier and demanded money before fleeing on foot.
Officers located the gun used in the incident and determined that it was a loaded CO2-powered BB gun.
The suspect was wearing a red hoodie with a black vest, dark pants, green or black boots, black gloves, a black balaclava mask, and dark-tinted sunglasses or goggles.
