Mounties hope to identify suspect who pulled fire alarm without cause

Grande Prairie RCMP are looking for the public’s help in identifying a man who pulled the fire alarm at the Grande Prairie Public Library without reasonable cause.

It happened at around 6:35 pm on January 24th during a community event at the facility.

Mounties say an unknown man entered the South entrance of the library and pulled the fire alarm, then immediately left the building through the same entrance.

RCMP have supplied surveillance photos of the person they believe to be the suspect.

Anyone with information on thi case is asked to contact the Grande Prairie detachment or Crime Stoppers.
