Canadian skier Oldham wins silver in slopestyle at freestyle world championships
BAKURIANI, Georgia — Megan Oldham won the silver medal in women’s slopestyle competition Tuesday at the world freestyle skiing championships.
Oldham, from Parry Sound, Ont., scored 87.75 on her second and final run to finish just behind winner Mathilde Gremaud of Switzerland.
Gremaud’s score of 87.95 points on her first run stood as the winning mark, while Johanne Killi of Norway finished third with 84.71 points.
It was Oldham’s best result at a world championships. She finished third in slopestyle in 2021.
