Search warrant leads to three arrests by High Level CRU

On February 25, the High Level Crime Reduction Unit with support from RCMP Dog Services and General Duty officers; executed a search warrant on a home and arrested three individuals inside.

As a result of the search, Mounties uncovered and seized numerous illegal items, including:

• 160 grams of suspected meth
• 33 grams of suspected magic mushrooms
• 110 grams of suspected cocaine
• A replica firearm (pellet gun)
• Bear spray
• Collapsible baton
• A restricted firearm (9mm handgun) that was reported stolen out of British Columbia

37-year-old Ashley Ducharme, 35-year-old Danielle Bulldog-Mecredi, and 38-year-old David Waniandy, all residents of High Level have been charged with numerous offenses including:

• Possession of a prohibited weapon
• Possession of stolen property
• Tampering with serial number of a firearm
• Possession of crystal methamphetamine and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
