Wolves lose opener at provincials, conference honours for one player

The Wolves men’s basketball team lost its opener Thursday afternoon at provincials in Calgary, 87-49 to Lethbridge College.

The Kodiaks were the first-place team in the South during the regular season.

The highest the Wolves can now finish at provincials is in fifth place.

They will play Lakeland for a spot in the fifth-place game Friday afternoon at 1 pm.

Earlier this week, Wolves player Emmanuel Iloka (pictured) was named an ACAC North First Team All-Conference Athlete.
