Grande Prairie RCMP investigating report of attempted child luring

Grande Prairie RCMP say they are looking into a report of child luring.

Police say they received a report of an incident that happened at around 8:25 am Sunday in the area along Crystal Lake Drive between 122 and 124 Avenues.

Mounties say a suspicious person approached an 11-year-old boy and tried to lure him into a vehicle.

The boy left the area, going through a nearby park.

He saw the same vehicle on the other side of the park but did get home safely.

The suspect vehicle is described as a black, older model vehicle, maybe a BMW, with tinted windows.

The suspect was wearing a black ski mask and sunglasses.
