House fire east of Bezanson

The County of Grande Prairie Regional Fire Service says no one was hurt in a house fire Monday east of Bezanson.

Crews were called in at around 12:30 pm to a home in the Rio Bend Estates subdivision.

Traffic and pedestrians are asked to stay away from the area as fire truck activity is expected to continue into the evening.

The blaze is under control and the cause is under investigation by the County Fire Marshal.

Firefighters from the Bezanson, Clairmont, Dunes and Teepee Creek stations, along with the Wembley Fire department, all answered the call. A water tender from the DeBolt Fire Station was also called in.
