City hall opens up application process for Community Group funding

Community groups in Grande Prairie are being encouraged by the city to apply for funding for the 2024-25 funding cycle.

Applications are now being accepted until April 30th, with application forms and more information being available at www.cityofgp.com/funding.

In a release, the city says the funding, which is provided on one or two year cycles beginning in 2024, is available for programs and services that benefit the community, and its residents.

Recommendations are made based on needs of the community, and a group’s ability to respond to that need.

The city will host support sessions for groups wanting to apply for this funding.
