Two Grande Prairie men have been arrested and four others are facing warrants after a year-long drug investigation by ALERT’s Grande Prairie division wrapped up last month.

The investigation included search warrants being executed on homes in both Arbour Hills and Hillside, as well as a vehicle.

Items seized included; 244 grams of cocaine, four cell phones, $9,000 in cash, a prohibited 22-caliber handgun with a defaced serial number, and ammunition.

In a release, ALERT says the handgun will be submitted for further forensic analysis, ballistics testing, and serial number restoration.

25-year-old Delor Putrus faces two counts of trafficking cocaine, while 26-year-old Oghenemudiak Anderson-Otunu is charged with trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.

Both men have been released, and no word has been given on when they are slated to appear in court.

Drug trafficking warrants are also out for 26-year-old Olufetemi Arogundade, 21-year-old Akson Kasimba, 23-year-old Vincent Okocha, and 19-year-old Laszlo Szentmiklossy, all of Grande Prairie.
