Valleyview RCMP investigating fatal shooting at Sturgeon Lake

Valleyview RCMP says a 59-year-old woman has died after a shooting on Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation.

Police say they got a report of a shooting at a Sturgeon Lake home Sunday at around 8 P.M.

Mounties say in a release that first responders tried to help but could not save her.

RCMP add that more information will be released later.
