Tu’ivai stepping down as Wolves men’s volleyball coach
The Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves say in a Facebook post that men’s volleyball coach Sam Tu’ivai is stepping down.
The post says Tu’ivai started as the women’s coach in 2016 before moving to the men’s team in 2019.
He was a three-time coach of the year, most recently this year. He won an ACAC silver medal and had a fourth-place finish at CCAA nationals in his career.
“I will miss NWP and my role as a varsity head coach, providing guidance and leadership to a great group of young men. I will cherish the memories, the laughter with my co-workers, and the thrill of being on the centre court competing for this logo and institution. This new chapter will bring excitement, challenges, and opportunity that I am looking forward to,” says Tu’ivai in that same post.
