Alberta MCU continues investigating Grande Cache homicide

A homicide that occurred in Grande Cache on February 21 is still under investigation by the Alberta Major Crimes Unit.

Mounties have identified the victim as 52-year-old Grande Cache resident, Robert Zibauer.

RCMP have also found a person of interest, and are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying them.

The ‘person of interest’ was seen at the Hinton Shell Gas Station on February 18, three days before the homicide, between the hours of 3 a.m. and 3:30 a.m., driving a black 2018 Hyundai Tuscon.
