There’s a push online to bring Pedro Pascal back to Alberta this summer to lead the 2023 Calgary Stampede parade.
A petition at Change.org to have Pascal, who plays Joel in the Alberta-filmed HBO smash hit The Last of Us, has gathered more than 6,000 signatures since its launch six days ago.
Pascal, who also stars in The Mandalorian, spent time in Calgary and elsewhere in the province filming the hit TV series between 2021 and 2022.
Since then he’s been outspoken about his love for Alberta, including filming in the mountains, seeing the northern lights and various communities he visited.
