Fort St. John RCMP investigating after shots fired at a home

RCMP is investigating a report of shots fired at a home in Fort St. John.

Police say the report came in at 4:30 A.M. (BC time) Friday from a home located on the 8600 block of 74 Street.

No one was injured but Mounties say bullet holes were found in the home and in a vehicle that had been parked in front of the residence.

“A drive-by shooting of this nature demonstrates the offender’s complete disregard for the safety and well-being of the residence and the entire community as a whole,” says Constable Chad Neustaeter, the Media Relations Officer for the Fort St John RCMP in a release.

The investigation continues.
