County staff receive provincial recognition

Three County of Grande Prairie staff members were recently recognized for their work in the emergency services field.

Regional Enforcement Services Manager Stuart Rempel was presented the 2022 Peace Officer Award of Excellence for his lifetime contributions to Community Peace Officer work.

Rempel was also recently presented a Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee medal.

Also receiving a Platinum Jubilee medal was County Regional Fire Services Chief Trevor Grant for his contributions to the Alberta Fire Chiefs Association.

And County Community Services Director Darryl Martin was presented the Technical Search and Rescue’s Noel Hill Dedication award for his dedication, leadership and volunteerism within that field.
