Man found guilty of murdering 15-year-old girl due back in court April 24

Alberta Justice says a man convicted of the murder of a 15-year-old girl is due back in Peace River court April 24.

Jason Alec Tallcree was found guilty of murder, sexual interference and interfere with a dead body charges April 4.

Tallcree was charged after the 2020 death of Roderica Ribbonleg.

The teenager from the Little Red River Cree Nation was last seen July 5, 2020, near John D’or Prairie.

Reports at the time said clothing was found in a forested area, which in turn led to her body being found.
