Apr 10, 2023 | 6:00 AM

Three members of the Grande Prairie Piranhas have been named to Team Canada for an international swimming competition.

Swimming Canada has named athletes Jordan Greber and Oliver Dawson, along with coach Alex Dawson, to its National Development Team for the 2023 World Junior Swimming Championships.

There are 26 swimmers and a half-dozen coaches on the team that will wear the maple leaf at the event to be held September 4 to 9 in Netanya, Israel.

Oliver won two junior gold medals, while Jordan won junior gold and silver, at the recent Canadian Swimming Trials held in Toronto.
