Alberta to bolster economic corridors with Saskatchewan and Manitoba
LETHBRIDGE, AB – The prairie provinces have announced a new partnership that they say will boost trade and the economy.
The Governments of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on joint economic corridor projects.
The three provincial governments say they will work together to eliminate regulatory inefficiency and uncertainty in hopes of attracting and developing nation-building projects.
A media release from the governments states that they will seek to identify and prioritize strategic infrastructure projects that will enhance transportation between the provinces and around the world.
