Kidney Walk set to return to Grande Prairie in 2023

The Kidney Foundation of Canada has announced details of its annual Kidney Walk in Grande Prairie.

After having to hold virtual walks for the past few years due to the pandemic, the foundation has announced plans to hold its first in-person event in the Swan City on June 24 at Muskoseepi Park, beginning at 10 am.

Besides having the option of walking either two or five kilometres, participants will also get to enjoy a barbecue and live entertainment at the Amphitheater.

Proceeds raised from the walk will go towards programs and services offered by the foundation to thousands of Canadians living with kidney disease.

You are encouraged to pre-register and begin fundraising for the event.
