La Glace School announces 2023-2024 Acting Principal

The La Glace school has announced that their current acting principal, Ms. Jennifer Thompson, will continue her duties through the 2023-2024 school year.
Thompson, a graduate of the Teacher Education North Program, holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership, first beginning teaching in 2008 and taking over as La Glace principal in January of this year.
Thompson said in a release, ” I love La Glace School thus far! I feel very strongly that our small rural schools are the best place to support the growth and learning of our young people.”
As principal, she wants to use her 13 years of administrative work and experience teaching Grades 1 to 12 to help La Glace continue its extraordinary work.
