Cash and Camping ticket sales centre set to open

In-person ticket sales for this year’s Rotary Cash and Camping lottery begin as of Wednesday morning (April 19th).

The sales centre is located in the parking lot of the Great Northern Casino and will be manned daily by volunteers from the 11 non-profit groups that will be receiving proceeds from this year’s lottery ticket sales.

Those groups include:

– Grande Prairie Gymnastics and Cheerleading club

– Bezanson Ag Society

Organizers have also announced several special event days where some of the top prizes in this year’s lottery will be on display at the sales centre.

The first such event is this Saturday, when hot dogs and hot chocolate will also be available.

Other special events include a Mother’s Day pancake breakfast on May 14th, the Rides for Rotary Car show on June 17th, and a BBQ Cook off on July 5th, which is also the final day of ticket sales.
