Four people face charges after RCMP in Spirit River investigated a report of several vehicles being stolen.

Mounties were alerted on April 3 of the theft of a classic Ford truck, two trailers, two snowmobiles, and a large amount of vehicle parts.

Four days later, the truck was located at a home in Rycroft, which led to the arrest of two people.

Further investigation led police to another home in Rycroft, where two more people were arrested after two trailers and some engine parts were recovered.

Forty seven-year-old Richard Frey, 59-year-old Glyn Jones, and 37-year-old Allison Glober; all of Rycroft, have each been charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

They also charged 58-year-old Conrad Cain of Rycroft with one count of possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine.

All four have been released from custody.

Cain is due in Grande Prairie court June 12, Frey on June 14, and Jones and Glober both on June 19.
