Upgraded Community Events Calendar added to the City’s website

A new upgraded Community Events Calendar has been added to the City’s website.

The new and improved calendar gives local community partners, sports teams, and non-for-profit’s an opportunity to post their events for the rest of the community to see.

Mayor Jackie Clayton said in a news release; “The event calendar is not only an excellent resource for event-goers but also for community groups and non-profit organizations, who can now submit events for posting on the calendar.”

The new calendar will also feature a variety of different City-led events being posted throughout the year.

Clayton said in the same release; “City Council is thrilled to launch the newly improved event calendar which provides a central location for both residents and visitors to get up-to-date information about what’s happening in Grande Prairie.”
