Province puts more money into NADC bursaries
The province says it is putting more money into the Northern Alberta Development Council Bursary program.
The province has included $1.9 million in the new budget to pay for this.
People from this region looking to become veterinarians, nurses, pharmacists, engineers, or to work in business can now qualify for up to $14,000 per year. That will include $1,000-$2,000 to help pay for higher living costs.
People who get this help are required to live in the north for one year for every year they received help under this program.
