Dream Home lottery officially sells out

The 30th edition of the Rotary Dream Home Lottery will go into the books as a huge success.

All tickets available for the $1.4 million home in Taylor Estates were sold as of 3 pm Sunday afternoon while the Cash Jackpot 50/50 topped out at $651,550, with the winner set to get half of that amount.

Organizers are now putting the final touches on plans for the draw, which will take place Wednesday night at 7 at the home.

Interested people can watch the draws either in person at the home, or online on Facebook.

Lottery manager Melissa Coulombe says everyone is welcome to attend the draw at the home, but encourages anyone wanting to do so to bring a lawn chair.
