GPPSD reminding parents and guardians of the early bus pass deadline

Parents and guardians of Grande Prairie Public School Division students are being reminded to apply for bussing and to have a new bus pass for their child by the start of the 2023/2024 academic year.
If you apply before the June 30 deadline, your pass is guaranteed to be processed by the start of the school year. Any submissions after that date will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The school district does ask parents and guardians to only apply if their child going to be using the bus on a regular basis, and if you need a pass for a specific time period, the district asks you to wait till that time period to apply.
To apply, parents will need to log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Once logged in to your Parent Portal account, click on SchoolEngage, then from there you will click on Students and find your child’s name. Finally, click on your student’s name and fill out the Bus Application.,
