May 5, 2023 | 4:42 PM

Another out-of-control wildfire is forcing residents between Township Road 710 to the Wapiti River and between Highway 40 and Range Road 73 to leave the area.

The fire is threatening structures in the affected area, and residents are asked to evacuate using the nearest range road, heading toward the City of Grande Prairie.

All evacuee’s are asked to bring all important documents, medication, pets, and enough food, water, and supplies to be away from their home for a minimum of three days.

Residents are asked to register at Bonnett’s Energy Centre.

If you need help evacuating, residents can call 1-825-606-5092, or contact Y-Drive at 780-978-7700 who will be giving people rides from the evacuation zone, at no cost.
