Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta collecting donations for wildfire evacuees

The Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta has been asked to facilitate cash donations from the public, to communities across the northwestern region for those displaced due to wildfires around our region.

However, they do ask that donations are monetary, as material donations are difficult for displaced people to manage.

As a partnership with the Grande Prairie Regional Emergency Partnership, residents can donate online through a link and charitable tax receipts will be issued for any amount over $20.
