The Grande Prairie Friendship Centre is asking for donations to support wildfire evacuees in Grande Prairie, as well as offering a number of free services.

The Friendship Centre is requesting hygiene products, diapers, pull-ups, and clothes for all ages, from infants to adults, which can be dropped off between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. at their facility on 98 Avenue.

The Friendship Centre is also opening its Babies Best Start Program playroom for evacuated families with small children to use, as well as offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all evacuees, free of charge.
