Todd Loewen pauses campaign due to wildfires

Saying he needs to support and help communities in his region deal with the current wildfire situation, Central Peace-Notley UCP candidate Todd Loewen has announced that he is pausing his election campaign at this time.
Loewen made the announcement on Facebook over the weekend, adding that his campaign office would be closed and that all of his personal election activities will be suspended until further notice.
Loewen is also a member of the Alberta Emergency Management Cabinet Committee and added his services are also needed with that at this time.
The NDP has also announced that it is pausing its campaigns in both Central Peace-Notley and Grande Prairie Wapiti, as well as other ridings that are heavily impacted by wildfires.
