Edmonton Telus World of Science giving free entry to wildfires evacuees
The Telus World of Science in Edmonton is opening its door to wildfires evacuees for free to provide families with an engaging experience, during a hard time.
Alan Nursall, President and CEO of the Telus World of Science said in a release, “Offering free admission will allow them to remain active and provide them with a small escape from the dramatic events impacting their lives, Our entire team looks forward to hosting these guests and helping the families while they are in the Edmonton area.”
Evacuees are invited to immerse themselves in interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, experiments, live science demonstrations, and planetarium shows at no cost.
Guests who visit the Science Centre from an evacuation zone, are being told to show their government ID with their address to the Box Office to get free access to all permanent exhibits and a feature exhibition “The Art of The Brick”.
