The City of Grande Prairie is inviting residents to take part in public information sessions for the Municipal Development Plan (MDP) review.

Taking place on May 16 and 18 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Centre 2000, the three-hour-long sessions are meant to educate the public on the MDP review as well as give them an opportunity to share what they believe should be the city’s priorities for growth and development.

Mayor Jackie Clayton said in a release, “The Municipal Development Plan Review provides an opportunity for residents to learn about and provide input on key focus areas and policies that set the vision for how Grande Prairie will grow and develop.”

An online survey can also be accessed by the public until May 21. Residents can share their thoughts on how to better shape the community moving forward.
