Grande Prairie-born swimmer to represent Canada at Pan Am Games

A Grande Prairie-born swimmer will be part of Team Canada at the Pan Am Games later this year.

Stephen Calkins was among the 36 men and women named to the squad by Swimming Canada and the Canadian Olympic Committee.

Calkins also represented Canada at last year’s Commonwealth Games, winning two bronze medals in relay races.

The 2023 Pan Am Games are set for October 20 to November 5, 2023, in Santiago, Chile.
