LaValley to be officially inducted into rodeo Hall of Fame Saturday

Bezanson cowboy Dusty LaValley is being formally inducted into the Canadian Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame on May 13.

LaValley competed at 13 Canadian Finals Rodeo 13 times, winning the Canadian Bareback Riding Championship four times, taking the title in 2006, 2007, 2010, and 2011.

LaValley also finished third in the average at the National Finals Rodeo in 2008. He also competed at the NFR in 2010.

LaValley is also a past champion at Stompede.

Other inductees include tie-down roper Bill Reeder and bull rider Rob Bell joining LaValley in the Contestant category, photographer Mike Copeman in the Builder category, bucking bull VJV Slash in the Animal section, and bullfighter Greg Rumohr in the Legend category.
