PCFAC names Chomyc new Director of Hockey Operations

Peace Country Female Athletic Club has announced the hiring of Tanya Chomyc as their Director of Hockey Operations.

A graduate of Grande Prairie Minor Hockey, and captain of the 2012 CIS Women’s Hockey champion University of Calgary Dinos, Chomyc is also the owner of Power Plus Hockey and has run countless power skating and skills camps throughout the region for players of all ages.

Among her responsibilities will be player recruitment, assisting in the hiring of staff for all three PCFAC teams, and planning and implementing player and coach development, both on and off the ice.

She will also play a big role in developing and growing female hockey throughout the region.

PCFAC is holding an ID camp for its U18, U15, and U13 teams on May 12 and 13 at Design Works Centre.
