Peace River Banks/Cleardale fire burning on both sides of the Peace River

Saddle Hills County says on its Facebook page that the Peace River Banks/Cleardale fire is moving south along the banks of the Peace River.

The county says anyone living east of Range Road 81 and north of Township Road 810 must be prepared to leave the area. There will be a reception centre at the Fourth Creek Hall if that becomes necessary.

This fire started in Saddle Hills County, jumped the river into Clear Hills County, and is burning on both sides of the river.

Clear Hills County says on its Facebook page that the fire is 4.5 kilometres south of Highway 64 between Range Roads 71 and 72 and moving southwest.
