Mounties look to identify suspect in Peace River assault case

RCMP in Peace River is looking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in an alleged assault that took place on May 12.

Mounties say at around 12:26 A.M. on that day, the victim was in the area of 94 Street when they were confronted by two men.

One man reportedly jumped the victim, demanding their bicycle.

The victim resisted and was able to keep their bike, but suffered minor injuries as a result of the attack.

The male suspect is described as being of medium complexion, about six feet tall and large build, with black hair, dark brown or black eyes, a scruffy beard, and a cross tattoo by his right eye.

The suspect took off in a dark Toyota Tundra with a license plate that includes B211 on it.

Mounties are asking residents in that area with doorbell cameras or outdoor footage from around that time on May 12 to submit any footage to them.
