Road improvements underway on 111 Avenue

A road improvement project is currently underway on a section of 111 Avenue, east of 100 Street.

Work will consist of asphalt milling, concrete work, minor storm sewer repairs, landscaping, and the replacement of the existing road structure.

Short-term road closures are expected and roadway access will only be granted to local traffic and drivers are asked to slow down in the construction area as well as watch for workers.

Project Engineer Daniel Dawson said in a release, “The road work on 111 Avenue is a crucial step towards enhancing the quality and longevity of our roads, ensuring a smoother and safer travel experience for all.”
