Outgoing Grande Prairie MLA praises those who ran, reflects on time in legislature
Outgoing Grande Prairie MLA Tracy Allard says she is “beyond thrilled” that Nolan Dyck held onto the constituency for the United Conservative Party in Monday’s election.
“I think Nolan is going to do a fantastic job. He’s worked incredibly hard. I think that’s an indicator, from my perspective, of a successful MLA; somebody who’s humble, that’s going to work hard. That’s totally Nolan Dyck.”
“As far as the province goes, I think Alberta made a great decision that’s going to secure our future, so I’m very, very happy.”
Allard decided not to run again after serving one term in the legislature. She uses words like tumultuous and rewarding to describe her one term as the MLA for Grande Prairie.
