NWP fall fundraising event gets new name

The annual fall fundraising event at Northwestern Polytechnic is undergoing a name change.

Formerly known as the President’s Ball, the event will now be known as the Entrepreneur’s Ball.

It will take place on October 21 this year at the TARA Centre at Evergreen Park, and will once again feature live entertainment, a supper, and other activities.

NWP President and CEO Justin Kohlman says the name change aligns with their goal of becoming the most entrepreneurial polytechnic in Canada by 2034, while also celebrating the remarkable difference makers in Northwestern Alberta.
