Teen charged after garage break-ins in Whitecourt

Whitecourt RCMP has arrested a 17-year-old in relation to a number of garage break-ins in that community.

They say the incidents took place on Thursday, with a number of items being removed from vehicles.

An ATV was also stolen from one garage but was later found abandoned by police.

The youth has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime and is scheduled to appear in court on September 12.
