Vigen records fastest time for second straight night at Medicine Hat chucks

Grande Prairie’s Chanse Vigen continues to roll at the World Professional Chuckwagon Association stop at the Medicine Hat Stampede.

Vigen’s time of 1:01.32 was the fastest on Friday night and was 1.13 seconds faster than Mark Sutherland and Layne MacGillivray, who finished tied for second. Chad Fike had Friday’s fourth-fastest clocking 1:02.47. Cody Ridsdale was tenth on the night at 1:03.25.

Vigen leads the aggregate by 1.42 seconds over Evan Salmond. MacGillivray is third overall, Sutherland fourth.

Night 3 of racing goes Saturday with the champion being decided Sunday.
