Mark Sutherland tops chucks aggregate in Medicine Hat
The fourth-fastest time of the night Saturday was good enough the secure first in the aggregate for Grande Prairie product Mark Sutherland at the World Professional Chuckwagon Association races in Medicine Hat.
Sutherland, who had been fourth overall heading into Night 3, had a time of 1:02.14. Kris Molle was fastest on the night at 1:01.04, then came Jamie Laboucane at 1:01.78 and Codey McCurrach at 1:02.08. Laboucane wound up second in the aggregate, McCurrach third. Both will join Sutherland in Sunday’s final.
Grande Prairie’s Chanse Vigen who had the top time in each of the first two nights of racing, was 34th on Night 3 at 1:09.66 to drop to 13th overall.
Kirk Sutherland was sixth on the night at 1:03.06. Mitch Sutherland was 11th at 1:03.78.
